• It works for me in my Nuvi. I believe it will work in any Nuvi that accepts a micro SD card. Once you install it, use Garmin Express to re-download the maps to the SD card and the maps will no longer take up so much of the native RAM in your device. I assume you have Lifetime Maps for your unit.

• I have a Garmin NUVI 2597. On my last update a notice popped up telling me I might need more memory in the future. Doing some research I found that 8GB was max addition for my unit. Suggest you visit Garmin website and check specs for your particular unit. No sense to buy a card larger than required
