how do I unlock the memory card? null

Push the little white "lock" switch on the left side of the card up.

Slide the small plastic tab on the left side to the top so it isn't next to the word "Lock".

just push up the little tab on the side of card. It sometimes lock by mistake if touched on the tab

Perhaps it needs formatting. My camera user guide notes that "The first time you insert a memory card that has been used in another device... make sure to format it...." [Note: A new memory card should have worked in your camera immediately though, as mine did (i.e., without having to perform a separate formatting process).]

If it is already up, move it up and down a few times and let it rest in the locked position for 30 seconds. Then slide it up to the unlocked position. It is then ready to be used.

Move the tab on the side few times back in forth, that should helps
