No. It would not fit the Verizon Cosmo. For your device, you need to purchase a MICRO-SD Card. This will solve all your issues!

If you have a micro USB port on you COSMO Touch it should work, the concept is still the same.

If you use a USB cable it will. If your device has a mini USB, then yes, you can drag files onto the flash drive. And fyi, any phone that uses a internet browser is a smart phone.

If your device is compatible with USB OTG (On-the-Go) storage capabilities then yes, After doing a quick check on your device it appears it is unfortunately incompatible.

You have to download the Android APP from Google Play. Or, access ScanDisk Memory Zone and look for your device on their compatibility list.
