• Yes it does. I use this because I have a 256SSD that always gets filled. This would be my expanded device. Best of all, it's small enough to just leave in the computer and forget about it.

• most android phones have a Micro USB connector for charging this plugs in to that same connector once you connect you should see a notification in your phone tap it and a file explorer window will show you contents of this drive
