It depends I assume you don't have an iPhone or you wouldn't be asking in regards to a device that doesn't have an apple connector you will need an app to export your sms messages to a text file and specify the flash drive as the location to save the file
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can save phone text messages anywhere with the right app and if you know how to copy/paste files from one device to another. I suggest you learn a bit about file types and file transfer on different operating systems you use (Android, Apple, Microsoft, or whatever). One you learn where files are stored and in what format, text files are very easy to copy and save. I use Google Messages on my Windows desktop PC. I open the app, highlight the message then copy/paste it into a Windows .TXT file to save it. From there it could easily be transferred to a SanDisk drive. If you are using an Android smart phone to transfer files, you'll need to first learn what type file reader you need to access the SanDisk drive and how to create a text file on it. I would use two or three different apps to do the job on my phone such as Samsung Notes and My Files from the Galaxy store, as well as Google Messages.

Please try again later.Hi, please be informed that all our storage devices including the USB Drives are simple plug and play storage devices and do not have any software/ program that would stop the user from storing any type of data in itself. If the device you would be connecting this USB Drive to, supports saving text messages onto a USB Drive, then you can proceed with the same.
