Voicemails aren't stored on your phone. They're stored on stand-alone devices furnished by your provider, usually either a proprietary UNIX or LINUX computer or a cloud service. It's a bit annoying the way I do it but I have a small MP3 recorder that I use for saving voicemails. I find a quiet place, prepare the recorder for record mode, play the message using my cell phone's speaker, and press the "record" button on the recorder. I do this for each message. Like I said, it's annoying but it's the only way I know to do it.
