I'd check the format of the drive on your Mac. If it's not Fat32, but rather an OS X format, Windows won't be able to read the contents of the drive without software made for reading Mac formatted disks.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.May not be formatted or initialized. Open up computer management in the surface pro (search for it) then select disk management. You should see the drive there, and it should prompt you to initialize if necessary.
