• No operating system comes with this. You can clone your old drive and it's OS onto the new drive if you have a modicum of skills or pay someone to do it for you.

• It will fit inside the laptop but the drive does not come with a operating system installed. Operating systems must be purchased separately and installed by the end user or a professional at Best Buy.

• If you need a "sata Drive connection" this will work. You will need to reload your operating system on any new hard drive purchase.
