• No. The SIM card has nothing to do with storage, rather it's what connects your phone to your cellular provider (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc). And iPhones don't allow you to use SD cards anyway.

• No, Apple doesn’t allow you to expand memory. You have to purchase what size memory you want when you buy your phone.
