You need to check your camera specs, and never exceed them. For updated choices, go to the camera website for recommendations. Use the brands they recommend, and same for the size. Using a larger card is not necessarily better. The camera may not even recognize the card.

If you use the micro SD form factor you may have to use an SD adaptor (usually comes with the card) to use it in a standard SD slot or read it into your computer without using the camera. The camera uses an SD card and therefore would require this adapter for the micro SD cards. This may be troublesome if the camera will be used in wet, dirty or in rough handling (dropping or other physical shocks) conditions. I suggest using a standard SD form factor.
