Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. Please note that the SanDisk USB 3.0 SD UHS-II Card Reader is not compatible with an 8GB SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo, as it only supports SD card formats. You'll need a dedicated Memory Stick PRO Duo reader or a multi-card reader that includes support for that format.
