Hello Fiveby21, Great question! The SANUS Elite Advanced Full-Motion 4D + Shift mount allows horizontal (left/right) adjustment during installation. This step is shown on page 10 of the instruction manual — when attaching the arm assembly to the wall plate, it can slide side-to-side along the plate to fine-tune the TV’s placement. Just be sure the arm assembly stays between the lag bolts for safety, and tighten the locking screws once it’s positioned where you want it.
