Is this mount considered quick release for the TV? null

Jax, Yes. My mount flawlessly services a 55" Sony. The step-by-step instruction manual, which is outstanding (very well written with detailed annotated pictorials), recommends two people hang the TV on the mount. Excellent advice! RSAI

Hi Jax, To release the TV all you need to do is remove the securement screw and pull the release cord, then you are able to remove the TV. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
