The instructions only mention wood and concrete, sorry I can not provide more. Perhaps you could try contacting Sanus.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry that I can’t give you the answer your looking for. My Mount is in wood studs in drywall. It works perfectly with this wall. My suggestion is to find out what type of fasteners would work to hold mount to you type of studs . I would go to a Home Depot and ask which anchors would work best in metal studs . And find out what weight those fasteners could handle. It would be a shame to have a Flat screen drop off the Mount. Good Luck sorry couldn’t help more !!!! Cheer’s
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This mount is not recommended for steel stud install. The twisting and turning of the swivel mount can warp the studs. I'd recommend a tilt or a fixed mount for steel studs. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
