“Will this TV wall mount fit the Samsung QN85Q90T, 85"? Will there be an issue with the power cord being in the way? Will I need spacers? Will the TV be too heavy for this TV mount to hold the tilt position steady and maintain max extension of 28"?”

Yes I checked this TV weight and the mount limit and yes it will easly work with that TV. Power cord is easly tucked away but you can but a wall hole for all cords so all cords are fished down behind and out behind the drywall. TV is fine with this TV no matter how it is moved.
