I think so. It has a wide range of attachment possibilities which allows the installer flexibility in attaching to the studs and still adapting the left-right placement to accommodate the exact final location of the TV regardless of where the studs were located. That was very important to me since I had less than a 2" leeway for TV placement. However, that adjustment might have less flexibility for a wider span, but it should work.
