The swing arm is mounted to the wall separately from the TV and universal mounting bracket. If the power cord and HDMI cable connections are centrally located on the TV back, they should be connected first with TV face down. Next install the universal mounting bracket on the TV using included spacers (recommended regardless of cord and cable configuration) to provide access under the bracket. Mount the swing arm on the wall. Then the TV with universal mounting bracket is lifted and connected to the swing arm. Finally, route the cord and cable through the swing arm guides.
