• Hi Deb, Yes, it can be used in a corner. It should work with your 34" monitor as long as your monitor is under the mounts 35 lbs weight limit and has a compatible VESA pattern. This mount can hold VESA patterns from 75x75mm all the way to 200x200mm. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
