why cant i tilt my tv downard after installed null

Each vertical rail that is attached to TV itself has a knob. Loosen those knobs to tilt it down or up. Those knobs provide the tension.

There is two adjustment knobs one on either side of the bracket that mounts to the TV itself... you have to loosen each of them and then make your adjustment then retighten
