Can I mount with 22” spaced studs? null

I don't believe so. Tech mounted mine and remarked that stud spacing was standard 16".

Wow, 22" spread?? Must be really old house since 16" has been standard for decades...18" prior in 60's/70's. Regardless, if NOT using BB/Geek Squad to install; I'd GO into store and ask to speak to installed...even if they have to contact you while out working in a day or two. If you CALL, you'll get either generic customer service tech in California (won't know) or someone working from their home, in various locations. Will not know either, but will say they'll find out and have someone contact you. Won't happen...make contact with an actual installer.
