• You don't need a patter. You need to know where the studs are and where you want to hang it. Test putting the screws through the slots on the device before figuring where you are going to put the holes in the wall so you know where to line it up with the studs. Use a level to make sure it's level. I've never used a pattern with TV wall hangers and I've hung quite a few.
