Hello, Even though the wall plate may look wide enough, this mount is not recommended for an 85" TV. The SANUS Elite Super Slim Fixed-Position TV Wall Mount is designed and rated for TVs 32"–80", so an 85" TCL TV falls outside of the supported screen size range. For safety and proper support, we recommend using a mount that is specifically rated for an 85" TV.
