“Thank you for the helpful answer. I can easily fit the cable inside the stand but i can't snap the cover back together because the cable needs to come back out. cutting out those edges appears to be a lot more difficult and i risk cracking it entirely..”

I found it rather dificult to get a 6ft cable to fit. I intend on getting a smaller 1ft cable to make it a little cleaner than it currently is. I had to really coil it up tight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Storing the wire is the tricky part, but works fine if you take your time. Try coiling it from the center out. Both ends must feed through the same side of the opening that does not pinch the wires when you put the top back on. This is the side facing the storage compartment.

Please try again later.It is a little difficult to stuff all the wire into that tight space (truthfully, it could be bigger, Sanus), but you can do it if you carefully route the wire. Make sure you don’t have any sections of the wire laying on top of another one; that solved the problem for me.
