“This wall mount is very heavy. I am concerned that with a 40# TV added it could bend the wall Studs behind the drywall. Any data on this?”

I have this mount bolted into two studs (As per instructions) with a 108 pound 75" 4k TV and even when it's fully extended out, it's fine. As long as they are wood studs (not metal) it will be fine. Little tip, most people try and tighten the bolts hard (thinking it will help it hold more) but if you start to rip the wood threads created by the bolt, it weakens big time. Only tighten the bolts till the mount is held firmly to the wall with maybe a 1/4 turn more to seat it.
