If i understand what your asking, yes. As it pulls out the arms unfold in a way that it does not move side to side, only out. But, the arms are a bit tough to move and if only one arm moves if you pull it say 4" out, it can seem to pull left (or right). But, the whole mount slides along the mounting bracket very easy to correct that, if needed. Our TV has speakers mounted on both sides with only about 1.5" gap, and I can pull out to full extension, back in or anywhere in between and it never hits the speakers. Also, the speakers are rather large, so I always keep my tv about a foot out from the wall to line up with them, it holds our 108 pound 75" rock solid. Hope I understood and answered it for ya.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good Day, Yes, you can make the extension one line from 4" to 25", you just have to play with the arm to ensure this. Same answer for the 12", it does not have to swing out of plane at all. When pushed back, it may have to but that shouldn't affect what you are trying to achieve. Thanks! Jake @ SANUS
