Use different holes to screw the bracket onto the tv. If this doesn't work you'll have to remount the wall mount to the right height
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would leave the TV there and throw some candles or something on the mantle. But to answer your question... Behind the tv, dropping down from the mounting brackets that were screwed into the TV, are two long plastic pull tabs with finger hoops on the bottom. Pulling those tabs down simulaneously will open the latches and allow the bottom of the tv to be lifted away from the wall. After tilting the bottom of the TV away from the wall, the TV can be lifted up and off the mount (2 person job). After you pull the TV off the wall , you will need to unscrew the lag bolts that fasten the mounting bracket to the wall. Then you'll need to mark and drill a new set of mounting holes at 2-3" below the current holes, following the instructions in the installation guide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are 2 straps with plastic rings (1 per arm). Pull the ring all the way down, which releases the hook on the bottom. Then you swing out the bottom, and lift up the TV. To move it lower, you will have to move the frame down - that is literally the only way to move this bracket.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In order to lower it you would need to drop the mounting bracket down by taking the tv off the wall by pulling on the 2 release tabs located at the bottom of the brackets attached to your tv mounts. Once the tv is off just unscrew the lag bolts that hold the mounting plate and drop down the few inches you need and reattach then mount tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To remove the TV, pull the '2' plastic rings down. This will release the TV from the bottom of the mount and allow you to lift and remove. Now you have to remount your wall bracket a few inches lower. Be sure to hit 2 studs with the mounting screws. When mount is moved, reattach TV. Voila!
