A:AnswerYes, there is a couple of inches play to the left and right. The wall bracket has "fingers" on both ends of the top rail to prevent you from sliding off as you adjust it horizontally.
A:AnswerWe had problems with installing this for our 65” tv and had to brace it with 2x4s. The mount itself is excellent and easily tilts to various angles. If I were to move the television for any reason, I’d get the same mount but have the store install it instead.
