A:Answer It's possible that there is excess outward pressure on the lower clips, preventing them from easily releasing off the rails. This could be due to cords stuffed between the TV and the wall pushing the TV outwards and thus placing pressure on the release clips on the lower rails. Try pushing in on the lower portion of the TV while pulling the release cables down on each side. Sometimes you have to wiggle each side in order to get it to release. If you're doing this alone, get a helper to assist.
If you've released the lower clips off the rails but still cannot remove the TV, it probably isn't lifting high enough to release off the top rails. Wiggle and jiggle the TV as you lift it. And if you're doing this alone, a second person will make it much easier (even with a small TV). Good luck!
