Hey Babs, This mount can fit both 16" and 24" studs, but not if you have a stud right in the middle of where you want this mount. We still can center it, I just need you to give us a ring @ 800-359-5520 and we can walk you through how to do this. Thanks! Jake @ SANUS
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can be just about whatever you need. There are anchor holes along the full width of the portion that attaches to the wall. The instructions state to install the anchor bolts a minimum of 16 inches apart. There is a maximum spacing listed but I do not remember the exact specification...it is over 24" though.
