Sanus - Premium Series Full-Motion TV Wall Mount for Most 42" - 90" Flat-Panel TVs

Q: Hello, I just installed this mount for my 75inch tv. My only issue is the strong tension to pull the tv from the wall and push the arms back in. Is there a way to loosen this tension? You can do so for tilt and swivel, but I didn't see for arm extension.

A: I called the Sanus customer/technical service line about this and they told me there was no way to ease this tension, or stiffness, in the arms. They said that tension or stiffness might loosen over time with repeat movement, but I feel like I'm going to snap my 65" TV in half every time I pull it away from the wall.

Q: How far does the arm extend the TV from the wall?

Q: I would like to know if the mount is 16 on center or 24 on center for the wall

A: Hello, There is not much different between the two, except the BLF228 is a Best Buy exclusive! Kathryn @SANUS

Q: How is cable management with this wall mount when using In-wall cable routing. Are you able to use the space within the wall frame mount for a power outlet or do you have to go outside the mount?

A: Not enough room for a std face plate. We installed a large proprietary box which included a cable slot and angled outlet. Anything needs to be above or below the bracket, but the tv will hide it well and the bracket arms include cable concealers within them.

Q: What is the mounting width of the wall bracket? The wall I am mounting to is built with 2x6's so the distance between the studs is larger than that of a wall built with 2x4's. Previous mount is not wide enough to reach the studs.
