• No it does not. Our outlet is below the wall frame and since this mount pulls out away from the wall there is a mesh tubing to tuck away the wires.

• Good Day, The recessed outlet can be place inside or below the wall plate, that doesn't matter. Either way this will have to be within the wall in order to fit behind the mount. Thanks! Jake @ SANUS
