Zero inches. Out, then tilt up/down and left/right are the only options. I do not recommend this product and will be replacing mine soon because it doesn't extend very far and has no other movement options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The horizontal motion is fixed and doesn't slide left or right so mount it center. On the other hand, if you pull it from the wall, technically you can slide it from there left and right but only works extended out.
