This mount does not have a place for a cable box or DVR to be mounted. We do have "Under TV Shelves" (VMA401 or VF3012) that can be mounted underneath for your cable box and DVR. If you have any other questions, reach out to us at [email protected] or 1-800-359-5520. Thanks, Nate @ SANUS
