“I need to mount my TV in a recessed area (do not need the swivel). I understand the base is 27 x 16.5. What is the distance from where the TV mounts (basically the back of the TV) to the front of the stand? I am guessing about 14"?”

• The mounting on the back of the TV stand is variable could be slightly higher or lower it’s heavy very heavy securely holds a 55 inch older Sony which is really heavy it’s self
