“How many inches clearance will this stand provide at the bottom of a LG OLED55B7A Smart 4K? It is hard to determine based on the how this stand will need to attached to the lower part of the TV.”

I use this stand for a Sony 55" TV. I also left the factory legs on the TV and it has 2 1/2" clearance from the bottom of the TV. Without the legs it could sit 1/2" above the base. The stand is attached to the back of the TV and is adjustable in 1" increments. The kit comes with numerous size bolts to fit many different TV's.
