Hi Stacy, We typically like to leave a full inch for this but the mount is definitely compatible with your LG TV. Kathryn @SANUS

That should be fine. My stand is the same depth. Actually in order to push the TV further back, mine hangs 2 1/2 inches off the back.

It should not be a problem as long as the width is 27" or wider. The stand is a plate that weighs a solid 30 pounds.

Shouldn't be a problem - the stand is quite sturdy. Works great for my LG OLED 65 inch television although we don't have that particular issue.
