We used this Sanus tilting mount to hang our Samsung 50" smart tv. Didn't need any extra parts. Everything we needed was in the box. We just followed the directions and it worked fine. Although i don't remember it saying anything specifically about maybe needing different parts for Samsung's. I'd just grab a buddy and try to hang it. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't use the Samsung adapter shown in the Addendum diagram, since it's not suplied either by Samsung with the TV, or by Sanus. I did use the M8x45 bolts Sanus supplied specifically for the Samsumg TV, however. in order to confirm that the bolts weren't too long (and potentially damage the insides), I inserted a plastic straw into the mount hole on the back of the TV, and then measured this with the bolt, washer and spacer. This assured me that I had plenty of room and the additional Samsung adapter was not critical.
