Hi Eric, No, this mount is not recommended for a 60" TV. It is designed for larger TVs starting at 65" and up, so it would not be a good fit for your current set. If you’re looking for something that will work with your 60" TV now and still support a larger TV later, we recommend the VMPL3 instead. SANUS Support
