“Can I mount this to drywall attached to aluminum studs?”

• As long as you go through the aluminum studs, then yes. Otherwise, I would not suggest mounting it to drywall only. We had to buy wingnuts to install it through the studs. We mounted this and 49" Toshiba tv's and they have been holding well.
