“Can I fit a 2 inch wide cable box behind the tv if I use this mount? I want as low profile as possible but also be able to put the cable box behind the tv. If not this one, suggestions as to which one? I do not care about tilt or swivel. Thanks.”

Yes, the installers put mine behind the tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say no to that box. Its a tight space. You will need a mount that pulls out and is on an arm.
