1 - your TV is compatible. Grab the model number of your TV and cross-reference it on BestBuy.com's MountFinder or give us a ring @ 800-359-5520 and we can walk you through this.

A:AnswerThey are not straps but metal handles, just squeeze very lightly and they release and can be used as support to tilt the tv make connections. Very nice and easy to use.
