If you go to Sanus web site, they're is a guide that allows you to put in the make and model of your tv, then will list the mounts that are compatible. Also on their site is a guide that will tell you the measuremnents to position the mount on the wall so that your tv, once hung, will be at the desired hight. It'll save you from mathmatical errors and unneccisary holes in the wall.
