This mount gives good support, with a nice flush-to-the-wall mount. The whole thing was easy to assemble, though it's big and heavy enough that getting a good level is a little tricky without two people (you absolutely need two people to mount the TV. The mount gives a decent ability to fine-tune the level and tilt of the TV once mounted. This mount goes pretty close to the wall so be sure your TV has recessed connections or you might not have much room for them once mounted.

I bought this unit for a 42" plasma TV. There are cheaper mounts, but the decision to buy this one was made based on what I considered to be important attributes that are worth the extra $$. The steel on this unit is heavy gauge, and it's rated for a much heavier TV than the one I bought. I like the peace of mind that comes from knowing that a big TV will not be crashing to the floor. The unit tilts forward and secures at the angle you choose with two knobs, which works for me because I mounted it above a mirrored chest of drawers in the bedroom, almost 6 feet off the floor, and the tilt provides a good viewing angle from a comfortable position on the bed. The knobs can be loosened or tightened by had so you can tweak the angle without tools. The assembly hardware was versatile, including varied screws and spacers to accommodate different TV sets and installation situations; to allow for irregularities in the wall or to pass wires behind the set. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and basic assembly tools were provided with the hardware pack. You will need additional tools in order to mount the unit yourself; steel tape measure, marking pencil, stud finder, at least a three foot level, power drill, and either a ratchet wrench or power nut driver for the bolts that hold the unit to the wall. I mounted the wall bracket myself (make sure you catch a stud on each side) and attached the two arms to the back of the set by first mounting the set on the (included) table-top mount to hold it upright. I did get help lifting the set up to the wall bracket because it's much easier to do that part with two people. The hooks on top of the arms behind the TV go over the top of the wall bracket, and then the latches on the bottoms of the arms lock the set in place so it can't be removed from the wall, unless it's done on purpose by someone disengaging both latches. You can then slide the set in either direction to better center it the way you like, and you're ready to hook up the input cable(s) and plug in the TV. I found it easier to plug in the HDMI and power cables at the TV side BEFORE hooking the set to the bracket because the jacks are harder to get to when they're only a few inches from the wall. Just remember to coil up the wires with a twist tie so you don't trip on them while carrying the TV to the mount site. Hope this helps.

I bought this product to hand a 55" Samsung TV on the wall. The instructions are clear; however, only three sets of screws and spacers come with it. My TV needed an in between spacer from the provided hardware. I had to go back out and buy several washers to make up the difference. Another con is that there is hardly any room behind the TV to tighten the sway screws, even with the really long tool provided. Once installed, my TV looks great.

I wanted a flat wall mount, but the sales guy at best buy told me most people want a tilting one....well, I wasn't mounting the tv above my viewing angle, I was mounting it straight on...so really I should take a star off of their sales staff. In any case, it works. It was pretty easy to mount. I was lucky and was mounting it in the basement where the other side of the wall was inside an unfinished closet. So i had easy access to the studs. The hardest part was figuring out where to mount it on the wall so it was centered with where we will be sitting...but that has nothing to do with the wall mount. The one thing I would say though, is it is almost impossible to access anything on the back side of the tv on the wall...so plug in all your hdmi cables and everything first, before you hang it on the wall, otherwise, you may be taking it down later to attach other cables. I would buy it again though, especially if I needed the tilt feature.

Easy to install, good directions and sturdy construction makes this product a good buy. It was a little pricey, but I wanted a tilt feature, I wanted a wall hugging mount and I wanted a sturdy product, all of which this item delivers.

This wall mount was easy to install and set up after aquiring some extra hardware. The wall ancors provided are for a brick or block wall, so I had to purchase the correct ancors for dry wall. Then allen provided was not long enough to adjust the tilt on my 60 inch TV, and the it's almost impossible to reach in far enough behind the with your hand because of how close to the wall the unit is. This was easily fixed with an allen socket and extentsion. The finished product works great and looks nice. I would not hesitate to purchase another one in the future if needed.

Great wall mount for the price. easily holds my 70 inch LED TV. can be tilted and angled very easily. slim and sleek.

Did what it was supposed to do. Easy to install. Easy to read instructions. Fit well and the tilt is very easy to use.

While there were other fancier products on the shelf, I just needed a simple mount for my new TV. The price was right and I didn't need it to do anything special, and this one worked just fine. Quick mount with 4 lag bolts and ready to roll. The tilt feature is very easy to use and adjust and you can slide the TV left-right to center it no matter where you had to mount the back bracket. I put a 55" flat screen on it with no problem.

Purchased three of these to install flat panels in a new house ranging from 42" - 60". Easy to install and adjust. Tilt mechanism leaves enough room behind the set for additional equipment including "hidden" set top boxes (DirecTV), cabling etc. Overall a good value.

This was so easy to install. My husband spent probably 20 minutes to get it on the wall and then another 10 getting the tv just right! It was perfect.

I purchased this wall mount afraid that it would be hard to install and would have to get someone professional to install it for me. I was wrong the instructions made it simple and easy. I knew from the beginning that it only tilted up and down and now I wish I had purchased the full motion wall mount but all in all I am happy. Thanks Best Buy!

this mount does its job well, easy to install and the hardware provided holds up. I've done two installations using the lag bolts and this could hold a TV much heavier than the two I've installed. If placing a wall plate behind the TV to run cabling, just keep in mind the cutout has to be horizontal, not a big deal, but something to keep in mind.

This mount was a pretty easy to install. I used it with a couple 2x4's to mount my 55" flat panel in front of a wall inset ( for the old style tv's). My only complaint is the screws provided to attach the bracket to the tv. One set was too short, and the other set was too long. I had to used some extra washers as spacers with the long screws.

This mount is exactly as advertised and has just enough tilt (you don't have to break your neck to watch it). I used this for the master bedroom and it worked perfectly. Once you have the mount on the wall the actual mounting of the TV is easy. I have a 40 inch on the mount, but I could have easily put my 55 inch from the living room on it.

After getting this installed in the brick wall above thefireplace,the rest of hooking it onto the tv was easy. We love the fact that we can move thetv a little,to get the reflection off due to the sun coming in a window in a different room.

The old adage of "you get what you pay for" - this is a great product, holds up my new 70" easily and it was a cinch to install. I did max it out in the size, but had plenty of weight to spare, which is why I used this specific wall-mount

Bought this wall mount for a 50 inch plasma tv. Instructions were straight forward. With the suggested tools, installation was easy. Has a nice tilt feature, and the tv can be adjusted left and right after it is already mounted
