No, it does not. If you need a mic with mute and a whole lot of other features, you might want to check out the Saramonic BLINK500B2+ Best Buy SKU:6578667. It is a wireless 2-person mic system that will work with USB-C, Lightning, and 3.5mm devices. It is a bit more money, but the jump in flexibility and features might make it worth it for you.
