It will certainly increase the intelligibility of your voice, but you need to make sure that it will let you use the speakers and an external mic plugged into the TTRS port. Otherwise you will not be able to hear the instructions. Since I don't have the program I cannot tell you this for sure if it does or does not allow that. But you can check in your preferences to make sure that it does before you purchase the mic.
