This cable is a Lighting female to Lightning male right-angle adapter for tight spaces where you need to connect a Lighting peripheral or device. This is not a USB-A or USB-C to Lightning adapter, Apple makes those adapters, as do other third-parties. The cord that comes with an IPhone to charge it will fit in the other end, its like an extension to your charging cable so the cord angles to the right or left. However, not all C connectors work. I purchased it to attach an Anker device to it and it would not fit. It is not a USB connection.
