What is this used for? null

I used it as adapter, because the new samsung laptop that I bought don’t have usb and hdmi only usb-c, so i need it if i want to use a mouse and connect my laptop to the tv and other devices.....

I bought a new iMac from Apple, and they have drastically reduced their ports for connecting other devices. The version I bought only has a Type C USB connector for input into the system. This adapter will let me plug in Type A USB devices, HDMI devices, SD memory card devices, among others. Very handy, and necessary with computer manufacturers cutting back on available port options.
