This plugs in by USB-C so all features would work on any USB-C capable Mac. As for matching up with the M2 Mini, the M2 mini is the same size, design and port selection as the M1 mini. This product also works great for the Mac Studio, Mac Studio has the same design and footprint as the M1/M2 mini, it is just taller. This product was designed extremely well for the Mini and Studio series and looks like a part of the Mac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's been working well with my M2 Mac Mini over a year now and I haven't experienced any limitations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit will function perfectly with the M2 Mac Mini BUT it is important to note that the advertised speeds may leave something to be desired (on the M1 or M2 platforms). This dock is 5 Gbps. Other docks are similar and others still are capable of 10 Gbps. The M2/M2Pro Mac Mini's Internal storage is closer to 40 Gbps (depending on your spec). If intended for document storage or just uploading of photos/videos, this is likely fine, BUT if being used as a working drive via the SSD enclosure, you may want to target something capable of closer to 40 Gbps so that your SSD performance is more comparable to the M2 Mini's internal storage speeds.
