I’m not sure… I got mine for free when I pre-ordered the game. However, I did notice that I had originally pre-ordered the game (I preordered the game as soon as it was available to preorder, which was many months in advance) and this didn’t come with it for free at that time. Once I saw that it came free when you preordered the game but was still not showing up in my order, I just canceled my original preorder and then I pre-ordered it again and then that’s when it showed up in my order/preorder as free.

That's odd. I pre-ordered the game and I'm receiving the case free of charge.

It does come with the pre-order but only for the physical copy of the disk, NOT the digital copy. Mine is being shipped now and I should receive it by 08Dec2021.
