For instance, I use wink in my house to control all my devices and thus plugs into the wink ecosystem effortlessly and you can set lock codes for individuals to acres your house or use the wink app to unlock the door. You can also use the lock standalone and manually program or with codes.
This also works with Alexa to lock to your door only. It will not unlock it for security reasons.
I have enjoyed the lock so far as its been quite easy to use and reliable for letting my children in after school.
If you don't use wink then check into other brands that are smart home gateways to see if they support this device.
